New Delhi: Due to rain in many areas of Delhi, people have got some relief from the humidity. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department (IMD), the monsoon is expected to be active in UP for the next 3 days. Light to moderate rain may occur during this time. On the other hand, on 7 August, Sunday there is an alert of heavy rain in western Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh. IMD predicts heavy downpour likely in these states in next 24 hours.
According to the Meteorological Department, a red alert has been issued for heavy rain on August 7 in Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, parts of Maharashtra and Goa. On the other hand, rain has been predicted in Madhya Pradesh (MP) and Saurashtra from Monday 8 August to Tuesday 9 August. At the same time, heavy rain alert has been issued in Telangana, Coastal and North Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Kerala for the next few days.
The Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rain may occur in Delhi and adjoining areas from Sunday 7 August to Wednesday 9 August. However, in the meantime, an increase of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius can be seen in the maximum temperature of the day from Monday.
According to IMD, there is a possibility of extremely heavy rains in West and Central India on 7 August. During this, an Orange Alert related to rain has been issued in Central and West India.
Monsoon has started weakening in Bihar. There is very little chance of rain here for the next few days. And the humidity has again started troubling the people of Bihar. The rain has stopped in many cities including the capital Patna. Weather experts say that the monsoon trough is not passing through the state, due to which the activity of torrential rains will see a decrease for a few days. Let us inform that on Friday, an increase in the maximum temperature was recorded in other districts of the state including the capital Patna. The temperature of the capital Patna was 35.5 degree Celsius.

Rain in North east:
There is also an alert of heavy rain in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura between 7 August. At the same time, in West Bengal too, heavy rain has been predicted in many districts today. Talking about North India, some relief is expected today in the districts facing humidity and heat in UP.
