New Delhi: Rainfall brings joy everyone gets relief but when we talk about heavy rain it sounds like scary because it leads to several problem that disrupt normal life. Monsoon has shown its effect late in North India, due to which the sowing of Kharif crops has been delayed. According to the latest update of the Meteorological Department (IMD), there may be rain in the plains agricultural belt of the country for the next 4-5 days. During the next 24 hours, heavy rain may occur in all the states including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim.
After the eastern and southern parts of the country, now the rain has started showing its effect in the states of North India as well. Delhi has been receiving light and moderate rains for the last three days. At the same time, many districts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan are also suffering from rain.
Delhi weather update:
The weather has become pleasant in Delhi these days due to rain activities. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain in Delhi today on August 01. At the same time, talking about the temperature, the minimum temperature can be 24 degrees and the maximum temperature can be 32 degrees.
UP weather update:
Rain activities are being seen in different areas of Uttar Pradesh. The minimum temperature in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, can be recorded today at 26 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature of 33 degrees. Rain activities can also be seen in Lucknow today.
Kerala is in under “orange alert”
The central Meteorological Department had on Sunday predicted heavy rains in Kerala till August 4 with orange alerts being issued in various districts in the week ahead. Orange alert has been issued in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki districts of the state for August 1. Orange alert has been issued in eight districts for August 2, 12 for August 3 and 12 on August 4.
Heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rain in Uttarakhand till August 2. At the same time, there is a possibility of rain in Jammu and Kashmir till August 1 and in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh till August 2. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry till August 4.

According to the weather forecast, during the next 24 hours, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, parts of Madhya Pradesh, parts of Madhya Pradesh, South Moderate rain may occur. At the same time, Interior Karnataka, Madhya Maharashtra and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Light to moderate rain is likely over Delhi, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Northeast India, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Konkan and Goa, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Light rain is expected in isolated parts of Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Tamil Nadu, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Ladakh and Rajasthan.
