IMD predicts light rain occurs in Delhi-NCR today, Orange alert in 12 states

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department predicts rain in Delhi-NCR even today. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), on July 7, the sky will be generally cloudy and there will be light rain in the entire Delhi-NCR. IMD has issued Orange Alert in these 12 states.

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department predicts rain in Delhi-NCR even today. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), on July 7, the sky will be generally cloudy and there will be light rain in the entire Delhi-NCR. Today the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be just 30 degree Celsius. This will give relief to the people from the heat.

On July 6, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 30.6 degree Celsius. Which was 6 degree Celsius less than normal. Monsoon remained kind in Delhi-NCR on Thursday as well and it rained heavily. 5.3 mm in the last 24 hours. Rain has been recorded.

According to IMD, today the weather is expected to be stormy at different places in western Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of very heavy rainfall at different places with stormy wind and lightning in western Uttar Pradesh today. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, Coastal Karnataka, East Rajasthan, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim and Uttarakhand on July 7. IMD has issued Orange Alert in these states.

IMD has today forecast for Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. There is a possibility of heavy rain with storm and lightning at different places.

The Meteorological Department has predicted 45-55 km of rain today in the adjoining parts of west central and southwest and east central Arabian Sea. From per hour to 65 km. There is a possibility of strong wind blowing up to an hour. The speed of the storm is 40-45 km in Kerala-Karnataka-Maharashtra-Gujarat coasts, Gulf of Mannar, Lakshadweep region. From 50 km per hour There is a possibility of reaching per hour. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into these areas.
