IMD predicts rain occur in 21 states today, heatwave to continue in 5 state, hail may fall in this state

New Delhi: IMD has predicted hailstorm with lightning at different places in Madhya Maharashtra. It is expected to rain in 21 states of the country today. Along with this, IMD has expressed the possibility of heat wave in 5 states. In Delhi-NCR today, the sky will be generally cloudy and light rain or drizzle may occur.

New Delhi: IMD has predicted hailstorm with lightning at different places in Madhya Maharashtra. It is expected to rain in 21 states of the country today. Along with this, IMD has expressed the possibility of heat wave in 5 states. In Delhi-NCR today, the sky will be generally cloudy and light rain or drizzle may occur. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature in Delhi can reach 37 degree Celsius on June 4. On June 3, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 36 degree Celsius, which was 4 degree Celsius less than normal.

According to IMD, there is a possibility of lightning, thunderstorm and splashing with thunder at different places in West Rajasthan today. The wind speed in the storm is 50 to 60 km. It is expected to last for an hour. Along with this, there may be rain with lightning and strong winds (speed of 40-50 km per hour) in Odisha.

IMD has also predicted rain with lightning and gusty wind (wind speed 30-40 km per hour) in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Chhattisgarh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala and Mahe. Also at many places in Vidarbha, Gangetic West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Konkan and Goa, Marathwada, Gujarat, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema, South Interior Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. But it may rain with lightning.

IMD has predicted heat wave conditions in isolated areas of Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Vidarbha. IMD has forecast stormy weather (wind speed reaching 40-45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph) over southeast and adjoining southwest Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep-Maldives area, Andaman Sea and south Bay of Bengal expressed a possibility. Strong wind (speed reaching 45-55 kmph gusting to 65 kmph) very likely over Northeast Arabian Sea, along and off North Gujarat Coast, Gulf of Mannar and adjoining Comorin area. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into these areas.
