IMD: Rainfall, hailstorm likely over northwest and central India till 26 Jan

Weather Forecast: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert saying that apart from the capital Delhi, the weather forecast is going to change once again in many states and along with the cold, rain (Rainfall Alert) will increase the trouble.

New Delhi: The cold continues to wreak havoc in entire North India including the capital Delhi and the weather forecast is going to change once again in many states. Along with fog and cold in many states, rain (Rainfall Alert) will increase the trouble. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert regarding this and told that this week people will get to see all the colors of the weather (23 January 2023 Weather Update).

The Meteorological Department has told that the Western Disturbance is about to become active, due to which there are chances of light rain in the plains. Along with this, there is a possibility of snowfall in the hilly areas and due to this there may be another winter attack in many states.

Rainfall alert in these states

According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), apart from the national capital Delhi, fog and cold will continue to wreak havoc in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana. Along with this, the rain will increase the trouble.

IMD has issued an alert and said that there may be light to moderate rainfall in Delhi this week. Apart from this, light rain may occur in some districts of Uttar Pradesh on January 24. At the same time, there is a possibility of snowfall along with rain in Shimla, Kullu, Chamba, Mandi and Kangra of Himachal Pradesh.

According to IMD, light rain may occur in remote areas of Delhi today. On the other hand, tomorrow i.e. from January 24 to January 26, rain can be seen in most areas of Delhi with thunderstorms. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in Delhi today was 9 degrees and the maximum temperature was 24 degrees.

According to the Meteorological Department, between January 24 and 26, rain with thunderstorms will be seen in most areas of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, hailstorm can be seen in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir on January 24. Hail may fall in Himachal Pradesh on 24 and 25 January. At the same time, there may be hailstorm on January 25 in western Uttar Pradesh as well. There is a forecast of hailstorm between 24 and 26 January in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh.

According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, no significant change will be seen in the minimum temperature for the next five days in the states of North-West and Central India. At the same time, an increase of 2 to 3 degrees can be seen in the temperature in parts of eastern India for the next three days. At the same time, today there is an update of the fog condition in Himachal Pradesh and Bihar in the morning and evening. Dense fog may remain in Odisha tomorrow.
