Several parts of Delhi received light rain in the early morning hours of Monday, bringing relief to the residents from the summer heat.

Yellow alert has also been issued for Delhi on Tuesday. Day temperature can be 35 and morning temperature can be 23 degree Celsius. Also, there may be drizzle on Tuesday and Wednesday as well. According to the Meteorological Department, a new Western Disturbance will be active over North-West India on Monday.
There, there will be a cyclonic circulation from Rajasthan to Madhya Pradesh. Due to this, light to moderate rain, thundershower and strong wind may occur at many places in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and hilly states.
During this, there is also a possibility of lightning at many places. These incidents may be more on May 29-30, after May 31 they will decrease. According to the Meteorological Department, people have also got relief from pollution due to the rain accompanied by strong wind.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi’s AQI was 134 on Sunday. This level of wind is kept in the ‘moderate’ category. It is expected that the air quality will remain in the ‘moderate’ category during the next two-three days.
