In a joint ops, J&K police arrested a militant with arms and ammunition in Bandipora

A terrorist has been arrested with arms and ammunition from Bandipur district of Jammu and Kashmir. The weapons recovered include one AK-47 rifle, two magazines and other ammunition.

Srinagar: In a big achievement, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday (August 20) arrested a terrorist with arms and ammunition in Bandipora district of North Kashmir. Kashmir Zone Police gave this information on its official Twitter handle.

Police tweeted and wrote- “A joint team of police and army in Bandipora has arrested a terrorist from Baramulla. Arms and ammunition have been recovered from him. The arrested terrorist has been identified as Imtiaz, a resident of Begh Mohalla, Baramulla. Ahmed Begh aka Ina Bhai.”

The police gave information by tweeting about the arrest of the terrorist. Kashmir Police wrote, “Bandipora Police and Army arrested 1 terrorist Imtiyaz Baig Inna Bhai, a resident of Mohalla Fatehpora, Baramulla. He was also arrested along with an AK-47 rifle, two AK magazines and 59 AK rounds. Arms and ammunition have been recovered”.

Let us inform that on Saturday (August 20), the Jammu and Kashmir Police has arrested 2 hybrid terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba. The vehicle used by the terrorists has also been confiscated. Jammu and Kashmir Police said that the names of the two arrested terrorists are Sahil Wani and Altaf Farooq alias Aamir. Both these terrorists had carried out the incident of grenade throwing at the minority community in Gopalpora on 15 August.
