In Gurugram, a mob of 200 attacked the mosque, threatened worshipers to expel from village, police registered a case

The complainant said that when some people were offering Namaz in the mosque, the miscreants entered inside and started assaulting, in which many of our companions were also injured. The accused also locked our worship house on the strength of their arms.

New Delhi: For the past several days, incidents of disturbing communal atmosphere in different parts of the country are continuously coming to the fore, due to which mutual harmony is continuously deteriorating. The latest case has come from Gurugram in Haryana, adjacent to Delhi. It is alleged that some people from Bhodkalan in Gurugram surrounded the mosque on Wednesday evening. After this, the bullies attacked the mosque. Along with this, while beating up the Namazis, they ransacked the mosque. At the same time, threatening to kill the Namazis, they locked the mosque from outside and left.

The Gurugram Police has registered a complaint against a dozen people for vandalizing the mosque and attacking the people there. At the police station, complainant Subedar Nazar Ahmed said that this morning around 200 people came to our village and started threatening to remove us from the village. He threatened and said that you will have to leave the village at all costs. After explaining our lakhs, they did not agree. On the contrary, on the strength of the weapon, threatened us to leave the village at any cost.

Subedar Nazar Ahmed, the complainant at Bilaspur police station, said that even last evening when some people were offering Namaz in the mosque, then some miscreants entered inside and started assaulting, in which many of our companions were also injured. The accused locked our worship house on the strength of their arms. He told that during the dispute, the mobile of one of the accused fell, which is with us. Police can arrest the accused on the basis of this mobile.

He told that there are only four houses of Muslim society in the village. The miscreants threaten to throw us out of the village on the strength of weapons. We also recognize some of these attackers. These people also constantly threaten to throw us out of the village. Police have also identified three accused namely Rajesh Chauhan, Anil Bhadauria and Sanjay Vyas. The police have registered a case under IPC sections 295-A, 323, 506, 147 and 148. A police officer said that a case has been registered. Soon the accused involved in the incident will be identified and sent to jail.
