In this new campus of Nalanda University, we have to strengthen the same ancient system again: PM Modi

Narendra Modi reached Bihar today after becoming Prime Minister for the third time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Nalanda University campus in Rajgir, Bihar. During this, he said that, I have got the opportunity to visit Nalanda in the first 10 days after taking oath for the third term. This is not only my good fortune, but I also see it as an auspicious sign of India’s development journey. Nalanda is an identity, an honour. Nalanda is a value, a mantra, a pride, a story. Nalanda is a declaration of the truth that books may burn in the flames but the flames cannot destroy knowledge.

He said, the renaissance of Nalanda near its ancient ruins…this new campus will introduce the potential of India to the world. Nalanda will tell…those nations which stand on strong human values…those nations know how to lay the foundation of a better future by reviving history. Nalanda is not just a renaissance of India’s past. The heritage of many countries of the world and Asia is associated with it. Our partner countries have also participated in the reconstruction of Nalanda University. I congratulate all the friendly countries of India on this occasion.
