Actually, recently a BBC documentary had come. This documentary was on the 2002 Gujarat riots. The central government had banned the screening of this documentary stating it as propaganda. Petitions have also been filed in the Supreme Court regarding this. In such a situation, the opposition is targeting the Center by linking the raids of the Income Tax Department with the BBC documentary.
On the other hand, Mahua Moitra tweeted that there is news of income tax raid in BBC’s Delhi office. Wow, really? How unexpected.
