The ICC issued a statement giving information about this. The ICC said that Jadeja violated Article 2.20 of its Code of Conduct during the first Test match played in Nagpur.

This is about the 46th over of Australia’s first innings. On February 9, the first day of the match, Jadeja was seen applying cream on his finger. A video of Jadeja was revealed in which he is taking something from Mohammad Siraj and putting it on the finger of his left hand. For this reason, the Australian media called Jadeja a cheater, but the Indian team management told that Jadeja had a finger injury and was applying cream on his left hand. But it was given without the permission of the on-field umpires.
