Earlier, Inexperienced Caribbean side defended a mere total of 189 runs against India at North Sound, Antigua and gave a big blow to the confidence World’s No.3 side.

Before the commencement of this West Indies tour, Team India were hoping nothing less than a whitewash. But, now West Indies are on the verge of levelling the series as they outclassed team India in many departments in the previous match.

The venue of today’s match holds much importance for the Caribbean side. If we look at the stats, out of total 31 matches played on the ground of Antigua’s Sabina Park West Indies have won 24 matches. Their win percentage at this ground is 77% and keeping in mind this favourable percentage they can be considered as favourites on this venue.

India’s batting skills came under scanner after the shameful defeat of 189 runs. Veterans like MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh have not tasted much success in the middle order during recent matches. Dhoni has proved skills behind the wicket but he yet to prove his old finishing skills in modern high scoring games. Dhoni’s role in today’s final clash will be a crucial one.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli wasted an opportunity to try out a destructive left hander Rishab Pant in the previous four ODI matches. It is unlikely that Kohli will try debutant wicketkeeper batsmen for the series decider.

West Indies will like to tighten their bowling attack in today’s game as they did in the fourth ODI. West Indies skipper Jason Holder will once again try to get early breakthroughs and put pressure on the middle order.

For India Chinaman Kuldeep Yadav’s spell could be useful for Team India as he is eager to prove his abilities and mettle his spot in the playing eleven.
