BCCI issued a statement on Tuesday saying, ‘The Men’s Selection Committee has named Sai Sudarshan, Jitesh Sharma and Harshit Rana in place of Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey and Yashasvi Jaiswal for the first two T20Is against Zimbabwe. Originally planned to join the squad traveling to Zimbabwe for the upcoming five-match T20I series starting on Saturday, July 6, the trio will join the rest of the ICC T20 World Cup-winning Indian team before departing for Harare. Will travel to India together.

Let us tell you that at present, due to bad weather, senior players and BCCI officials are stranded in Barbados. Shivam Dubey, Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh and Khalil Ahmed, who were present in Barbados with the Indian team, were given a chance for the series against Zimbabwe from July 6. But it is difficult for these players to join the team in Zimbabwe.
