Independence Day: Team ‘Madad Karona’ organizes a prog for kids at Shri Ramswaroop Univ

Lucknow: Team ‘Madad Karona’ organized a program for children at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University today on August 15, . The university runs a school ‘Apni pathshala’ for poor children. The volunteer members of Madad Karona, a social organization engaged in social services in Lucknow for the last two years, organized a program for these children and spent some time together by playing games and fun activities.

The program started with the national anthem and after that Vande Mataram song was also sung. Interesting prizes and gifts were given to all the children. The kids loved meeting our team and took a promise to organize similar programs in future also. Mariyam, Saboor, Abdullah Khalid, Abdullah Shahid, Ali Abbas, Mujeeb, Sumbul, Noor, Farheen, Afiya, Swapnil and Abhimanu along with other team members participated in the event.

After this the team also went to Tindola village near Ramswaroop University to meet children who reside there. Our volunteers played games and quiz with the children. We distributed stationery items, colour pencils, copies and tricolor caps. Our team also took along refreshments which were distributed among all the children. The talented kids played games with us, recited poems, sang songs and danced along with our team. Some pictures of this memorable event are attached. This was indeed the best independence day of our lives.
