Citing a statement made by the IMF’s top economist, Amit Shah said, “India’s economy is expanding quickly as a result of political stability and a corruption-free government. The IMF referred to India’s economy as “a bright light in a dark area” and forecast that India will hold the second-place G20 position with 6.8% GDP in 2022–2023 and hold the first-place G20 position with 6.1% GDP in 2023–2024.
