New Delhi: Today Sonia Gandhi was questioning by ED second time. Instead of tight security and barricades in central Delhi, her son and Congress chief Rahul Gandhi led a protest and sat on a road in the heart of the capital, so police is in action after this. After a standoff that lasted for about 30 minutes, the Congress MP was detained and put in the same bus in which other MPs were already detained. Before the detention, Rahul Gandhi said, “India is a police state, (Prime Minister Narendra) Modi is a king,”

On the other hand, in the National Herald case, his mother and Congress President Sonia Gandhi was called to the Enforcement Directorate for the second round of questioning. Sonia Gandhi was accompanied by her daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to the investigative agency’s office. Rahul Gandhi also went there before joining the protest in Parliament.
Meanwhile, a day after four party MPs were suspended for the entire monsoon session, Congress MPs were protesting against “silencing” the opposition in Parliament. MPs planning to march towards Rashtrapati Bhavan were stopped at Vijay Chowk square.
