New Delhi: Looks like most of the cricketers were waiting for the year 2023 to get married. India’s cricketer KL Rahul and Axar Patel got married this year, while Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, Shan Masood and Shaheen Afridi have tied the knot in the neighboring country. On January 26, where the whole country was celebrating the 74th Republic Day with great pomp, preparations were going on for the wedding of the star all-rounder of the Indian team. He married his childhood friend Meha Patel, who is a dietician. The all-rounder skipped the ODI series against New Zealand this time owing to his wedding. While Axar is yet to share pictures or videos from his exciting marriage ceremony, several Twitter users shared a few memoirs from his wedding day.

Axar Patel and Meha Patel have been knowing each other since long time. His future wife is a dietician and nutritionist. Axar Patel has been playing for Team India for a long time. He is known for bowling brilliantly, he has taken 47, 56 and 37 wickets in 8 Tests, 49 ODIs and 40 T20s respectively.

Axar Patel’s wife Meha is reportedly a dietician and a nutritionist, who founded her own venture named Dt. Meha and guides people through social media. She is an avid Instagram user and keeps posting pictures with the Indian cricketer too. She also has a tattoo of Axar’s name on her arm.
The 29-year-old has been a key player in India’s white-ball squads in recent times. He grabbed 4 wickets in the T20Is and ODIs against Lanka but more importantly, made useful contributions with the bat to help beat the visitors.
Axar is the second Indian cricketer to get married this week after KL Rahul, who tied the knot with Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty in Khandala on January 25.
