India had made Australia all out for 263 runs after coming out to bat first. After which the Indian team has scored 21 runs without any loss. Currently Rohit Sharma (13) and KL Rahul (4) are unbeaten at the crease. Earlier, Usman Khawaja (81) and Peter Handscomb (72 not out) played good innings for Australia. For India, Mohammed Shami took maximum four, while Ravindra Jadeja and Ashwin took 3-3 wickets.

India is currently 242 runs behind Australia. However, all 10 of India’s wickets remain. Now on the second day of the match, Team India would like to score a big score and take the lead on the basis of the first innings. In Nagpur too, India scored a huge score in the first innings itself and won by an innings. Now in Delhi too, India would like to take an unassailable lead in the series by getting a big win.

Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara is playing his 100th match. India has not lost a Test since 1987 – at the stadium formerly known as Feroz Shah Kotla.
