Indian Navy Day 2022: Indian Navy Day is being celebrated across the country today i.e. on 4th December. Navy Day program is being organized outside Delhi for the first time. The President and the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Droupadi Murmu will also be present on the occasion of the Navy’s Foundation Day in Visakhapatnam. Will see the power of the Navy himself. Here warships, submarines, helicopters and fighter aircraft will show their strength on the sea waves.
President Droupadi Murmu is set to be present as the “guest of honour” as naval warfare prowess is displayed in ‘Operational Demonstration’ in Visakhapatnam. The day is celebrated every year to mark the achievements of the Indian Navy in ‘Operation Trident’ during the Indo-Pak war of 1971.
The event will be hosted by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar. Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy among others will take part in the celebrations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh led the nation in sending greetings. PM Modi tweeted, “Navy Day greetings to all naval personnel and their families. We in India are proud of our rich maritime history.” The human spirit during challenging times.” The prime minister also posted an audio message that accompanied the visuals shared on Twitter.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh also shared a video on Twitter, writing: “Congratulations to all @IndianNavy personnel on Navy Day. Indian Navy is at the forefront of keeping our nation safe by ensuring impeccable maritime security. Indian Navy’s valor to the nation, Proud of the courage, commitment and professionalism.”
