Popular Punjabi singer Nirvair Singh died in a horrific car crash in Melbourne, Australia.
Melbourne: Punjabi singer Nirvair Singh has died in a road accident. According to reports, Nirvair shifted to Australia with wife and children 9 years ago to pursue a career in singing. He lost his life in a dangerous accident here on Tuesday. At present, the police have registered a case and started hearing the case.
According to police around 3.30 pm on Tuesday, a massive collision was witnessed between three vehicles on Bulla-Diggers Rest Road in Diggers Rest. After the accident, the police arrested two people, including a man and a woman. However, there are no charges against them so far. It’s all about driving the wrong way. The 23-year-old driver of the sedan has been arrested and charged, the police further said. Mr Singh, 42, was on his way to a job site when he was struck.
The out-of-control Kia hit two other vehicles and then a jeep, which came into Mr Singh’s path and he died on the spot, the police said.

His fans and friends are in shock since receiving the news of Nirvair Singh’s death. Punjabi singer Gagan Kokri made a post condoling the death of Nirvair Singh. He wrote in the post, ‘It’s my morning with this shocking news. Both Nirvair and I had also driven a taxi together. We both sang the song together for the first time. Then you got busy with work. Your song ‘Tere Bina’ was the best song till date. You were a very nice person and I will never forget you.’
Mr Singh gained fame with the song Tere Bina from the album ‘My Turn’. His other hits include Darda-a-Dil, Je Russgi, Ferrari Dream and Hikk Thok Ke.
