Indian Team Management says no to WAGs for England Tests

According to some of the media reports, the Indian team management has instructed their players that ‘no wives and girlfriends (WAGs)’ will be allowed on the tour till the end of the third Test in Nottingham on August 22.

This decision is seen as a move focusing on tightening screws on players before the much-hyped five-match Test series against England, The Test series between India and England starts on August 1 at Edgbaston, Birmingham.

The men in blue so far had a mixed tour to England, after winning the T20I series 2-1, the visitors were blanked in the ODI series 1-2 despite leading it after the first game.

After the conclusion of the ODI series, the Indian players were given some time off to travel and explore various places in the UK. Many of the Indian star players were accompanied by their wives including the likes of Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, MS Dhoni or Rohit Sharma. The Indian players shared their candid pictures on various social media platforms.
