New Delhi: Before making any travel arrangements, Indian nationals should be aware of a recent change in Serbia’s visa requirements. The nation has declared that all Indian nationals should have visas to land in Serbia as of January 1.
All Indian visitors, according to a statement from the Indian Embassy in Belgrade, “need a visa to enter the Republic of Serbia.”
The statement said, “The Government of Serbia has revoked the existing agreement of visa-free entry into Serbia for all holders of Indian passports for stays in Serbia of up to 30 days.”
Indian nationals wishing to go to Serbia on or after January 1 must submit a visa application at the Serbian Embassy in New Delhi or in the country of their residence.
However, the new adjustment will not apply to Indians who have a visa or residency permit for the US, UK, or Schengen region. According to the statement, Indian passport holders with a visa or permit from these countries will still be allowed to enter Serbia visa-free on or after January 1 for up to 90 days.
