Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) “Himveers” perform Yoga in Ladakh at 17,000 feet on int’l yoga day

Sikkim: Today on Tuesday, the 8th Yoga Day is being celebrated all over the world. Yoga programs are being organized everywhere. Whether it is common or special, everyone is busy in giving new energy, new vigor to the body and mind through yoga. In such a situation, where are the Central Armed Police Forces also going to be behind.

Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel performed yoga on the occasion of Yoga Day in the snow-capped mountains and plains of the Himalayas from Uttarakhand to Arunachal, while also dedicated a song on International Yoga Day. In Ladakh and Sikkim, Surya Namaskar was performed on a 17 thousand feet high mountain covered with snow.

Brave jawans of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) performed yoga at various high altitude Himalayan mountains along the Indo-China borders including Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. In Assam, Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel are doing yoga on the banks of Brahmaputra river at Lachit Ghat in Guwahati.

ITBP has also shared the picture of doing yoga in the snow-clad hills on social media.

ITBP jawans performed yoga at an altitude of 16000 feet on the Indo-China border in Uttarakhand. The soldiers started the day by doing yoga in an icy environment early in the morning.

Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel practice yoga at an altitude of 14,500 feet on the Indo-China border in Uttarakhand. At the same time, in Assam, 33 Battalion ITBP personnel performed yoga in Guwahati on International Yoga Day.

In Sikkim, Himveers did different yoga postures. By doing yoga in front of the tricolor flag, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police personnel gave a big message to the world by doing yoga.

The soldiers did yoga on the hills thousands of feet high above the snow. During this, the soldiers performed different types of postures. Everyone is appreciating this courage of the soldiers.

The Himveers stationed at the eastern tip of the nation-Arunachal Pradesh at ATS, Lohitpur practised Yoga with horses.
