New Delhi: Infosys President Mohit Joshi quits from the post. Mohit will now be the Managing Director and CEO of Tech Mahindra. Mohit Joshi was working in Infosys for the last 22 years. Mohit Joshi will work in the company till June. It is worth noting that recently Ravi Kumar, former President of Infosys had also resigned. He became the CEO of IT company Cognizant.
According to the information given by Infosys in the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Mohit Joshi’s resignation has come into effect from March 11, 2023. His last day in the company will be on June 9, 2023. The Board of Directors appreciates the services and contribution made by Mohit Joshi to the Company. According to the official website of Infosys, Mohit was responsible for the company’s software, financial services, health care, life science business.
Tech Mahindra told the Bombay Stock Exchange that Mohit Joshi will be made a director on the company’s board of directors with effect from December 20, 2023. Mohit Joshi will take over as MD of the company from 19 December 2023. According to the Companies Act 2013, the appointment of Mohit Joshi as Managing Director and CEO will be effective from 20 December 2023 to 19 December 2023 i.e. for five years. Mohit has worked in ABN Ambro, ANZ Grindlays company before Infosys.
Mohit Joshi joined Infosys in the year 2000. Prior to this, he was leading the financial business in Europe. In 2007, Mohit was appointed CEO of Infosys Mexico. Mohit founded Infosys first subsidiary in Latin America. Mohit was also associated with the Young Global Leaders Program of the World Economic Forum Davos in the year 2014. Apart from this, he is also a member of the Young President’s Organization.
