New Delhi: Interpol has issued a Red Corner Notice against 19-year-old gangster Yogesh Kadian who is a resident of Haryana’ Jhajjar. Yogesh Kadian, who was born in 2004, has been booked under severe criminal charges that include criminal conspiracy, attempt to murder, acts done by several persons in furtherance of a common intention, and possession and use of prohibited arms and ammunition. According to sources, Yogesh Kadian has fled from India and has taken refuge in America.

NIA’s crackdown against the gangster-terror network, after which many gangsters have either gone underground or have escaped from India on fake passports like Yogesh Kadian. Cases of attempt to murder, criminal conspiracy and Arms Act have been registered against 19 year old Yogesh Kadian. At a young age, Yogesh is considered an expert in using modern weapons.

19 year old Yogesh Kadian is said to be close to Haryana’s notorious gangster Himanshu alias Bhau, who has also fled from India and has taken shelter in America. All of them are associated with the anti-Bambiha gang of Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar. According to sources, Goldie Brar and Lawrence’s brother Anmol Bishnoi are present in America.

Interpol, an international law enforcement agency, works in tandem with police and intelligence forces of various countries to mitigate cross-border crime and help them nab fugitive criminals. The Red Corner notice against Yogesh Kadian has been requested by the Indian government.

Request for extradition of key Khalistani terrorists to Canada
The extradition request for Nijjar became moot following the terrorist’s demise, which occurred on June 18 outside a gurudwara in Surrey. The Indian government’s appeals for the extradition of other prominent Khalistani figures, including Lakhbir Singh Landa, Khalistan Tiger Force leader Arshdeep Singh Dala, and several others, remain at large.

Additionally, Interpol, on India’s request, issued Red Corner Notices for various Canada-based Khalistani leaders, such as Gurjit Singh Cheema, Malkit Singh Fauji, Gurpinder Singh (aka Baba Dalla) and Gurpreet Singh. However, Interpol member Canada has so far ignored these notices.

The situation has been worsened by threats issued by Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) leader Gurpatwant Pannun, who has called on Indian-origin Hindus to leave Canada. Concern over rising tensions has led Canada to take precautionary measures to ensure the safety of its diplomats, including evaluating threats received on social media and temporarily adjusting staff presence in India.

Meanwhile, the US has supported a thorough investigation into the killing of Nijjar and underlined the importance of adhering to the principles of international law, sovereignty and non-intervention.
