New Delhi. iQoo has launched iQoo 8 and iQoo 8 Pro after the successful 7 series. Let us tell you, iQoo 7 was launched in January this year. Both the phones come with several upgrades compared to the previous generation. Both the iQoo 8 and the iQoo 8 Pro have triple rear cameras and have been introduced in the BMW M Motorsport colorway. The vanilla iQoo 8 is available in a total of three finishes while the iQoo 8 Pro is available in only two finishes.
iQoo 8 price
iQoo 8 is priced at CNY 3,799 (approximately Rs 43,600) for the 8GB + 128GB storage model. The 12GB + 256GB storage option is priced at CNY 4,199 (approximately Rs 48,200). The phone is offered in two finishes – the Legendary Edition with the BMW M Motorsport colorway and a Black color variant.
iQoo 8 Pro price
The iQoo 8 Pro is priced at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs 57,300) for the 8GB + 256GB storage model, CNY 5,499 (approximately Rs 63,100) for the 12GB + 256GB storage variant and CNY 5,999 (approximately Rs 68,800) for the 12GB variant. It comes in two finishes – the Legendary Edition and the Track Edition.
Both the phones are available for pre-order in China. The sale of iQoo 8 will start from August 24 while the sale of iQoo 8 Pro will start from August 26. As of now, there is no information on international availability.
iQoo 8 Specifications
iQoo 8 runs Android 11 with OS 1.0. It sports a 6.56-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,376 pixels) AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit colour, 19.8:9 aspect ratio, 92.76 screen-to-body ratio and 398ppi pixel density. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC and comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
iQoo 8 camera
For photos and videos, the iQoo 8 packs a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel IMX598 sensor as the primary sensor, an ultra-wide-angle 13-megapixel sensor and a 13MP camera. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter, housed in a centrally located hole-punch cutout.

The iQoo 8 Pro sports a large 6.78-inch 2K (1,440×3,200 pixels) AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 92.2 percent screen-to-body ratio, 517ppi pixel density and HDR support. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC, paired with Adreno 660 GPU. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
iQoo 8 Pro camera
For photos and videos, the Pro model comes with a 50-megapixel IMX766V sensor, an ultra-wide-angle 48-megapixel sensor and a 16-megapixel portrait camera. On the front, the iQoo 8 Pro sports a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calls.
Connectivity options and sensors are similar to the vanilla iQoo 8. However, the Pro model has an ultrasonic 3D wide area in-display fingerprint sensor. It also packs a massive 4500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging as well as 50W fast wireless charging. Talking about the dimensions, the dimensions of the phone are 165.01×75.2×9.19mm and the weight is 202.5 grams.
