ISRO launched PSLV-C55 with two Singaporean satellites from Sriharikota

New Delhi: According to a big news from Andhra Pradesh, ISRO has launched two satellites from Singapore. These satellites are launched from Sriharikota. These satellites will provide information on sea safety and weather. Yes ISRO has launched the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) today i.e. Saturday 22nd April on its another big mission.

ISRO launched PSLV-C55 with two Singaporean satellites from Sriharikota

New Delhi: According to a big news from Andhra Pradesh, ISRO has launched two satellites from Singapore. These satellites are launched from Sriharikota. These satellites will provide information on sea safety and weather. Yes ISRO has launched the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) today i.e. Saturday 22nd April on its another big mission. The rocket has taken off with two large satellites from Singapore and an in-house platform.

According to the information, the PSLV-C55 mission was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh at 2:19 PM today. This is the 57th flight of PSLV and the 16th mission to use the PSLV core alone configuration. This mission was named TELEOS-2.

ISRO had also given information on its Twitter handle about the launch of two satellites of Singapore. ISRO had informed that on Saturday PSLV rocket PSLV-C55 from Sriharikota will launch Singapore’s 741 kg satellite TeLEOS-2 and 16 kg Lumilite-4 satellite into orbit.

The TeLEOS-2 Earth Observation Satellite will also have an all-weather capability to meet the satellite imagery requirements of various agencies working under the Government of Singapore. Its other satellite will be LUMELITE-4, an advanced satellite weighing 16 kg. It has been developed to demonstrate a very high frequency data exchange system. The satellite is designed to promote Singapore’s e-navigation maritime security and benefit the global shipping community.
