Chennai: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leader Senthil Balaji has been accused of involvement in corruption. The Income Tax Department is continuously conducting raids to expose this scam. At the same time, even today the Income Tax Department has raided several places associated with Minister Senthil Balaji. Along with this, they have also raided the residence of the people related to the minister.
The department has conducted raids at around 40 locations across Tamil Nadu at the residences and offices of various government contractors. Right now the raids are going on in Chennai, Karur and other places. Sources said searches are being conducted at the premises of people allegedly linked to the minister in several cities, including Karur and Coimbatore.
The minister’s close relatives and some contractors were allegedly involved in alleged corruption with Senthil, so the Income Tax Department has raided the homes of people linked to Senthil. Please tell that senior DMK leader from Karur Senthil Balaji holds the Prohibition and Excise Department.
