Officials said that a joint operation against the terrorists was launched on Wednesday morning by the Indian Army, BSF and Jammu and Kashmir Police. Meanwhile, alert troops along the LoC in Machhal sector of Kupwara in North Kashmir foiled an infiltration bid by terrorists.
According to officials, AK series rifles, hand grenades and other weapons have been recovered from both the slain terrorists. Officials said that the operation is still going on. Let us tell you that even on Tuesday late night, four terrorists were killed by the security forces.
Security forces had killed four terrorists in a joint operation while taking action in Sindhra area of Poonch. The first encounter between the security forces took place around 11:30 pm on Monday night. Drones with surveillance equipment were deployed the night after the first encounter. Thereafter, the encounter resumed in the early hours of Tuesday with heavy exchange of fire between the security forces and the terrorists. Meanwhile, Indian soldiers killed four terrorists.
