Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbag Singh said on Thursday that a government school teacher-turned-terrorist has been arrested for carrying out several blasts. Arif, a resident of Reasi, who was being handled by a Pakistan-based terrorist of Lashker-e-Taiba (LeT) was arrested following the investigation into the recent twin blast in Jammu's Narwal that left nine people injured.

Jammu Kashmir: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Dilbag Singh said on Thursday that a government school teacher-turned-terrorist has been arrested for carrying out several blasts. Arif, a resident of Reasi, who was being handled by a Pakistan-based terrorist of Lashker-e-Taiba (LeT) was arrested following the investigation into the recent twin blast in Jammu’s Narwal that left nine people injured.

Jammu Police has recovered Perfume IED for the first time in the Valley. Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh informed on Thursday that for the first time we have recovered perfume IED in the valley. No perfume IED has ever been recovered before this.

DGP Dilbag Singh said that this bomb is very dangerous. He told that if someone tries to press or open it, it will explode. He said that after the perfume IED recovery, we are very cautious. Our special team will handle this IED.

The DGP said that on January 20, two bombs were planted. On January 21, two explosions were carried out at an interval of 20 minutes to kill as many people as possible. Nine people were injured in the first IED blast. Police has arrested a terrorist Arif, who was in touch with Pakistani handlers since 3 years.

The DGP said that a perfume IED has been recovered from the terrorist. He also said that Pakistan is infamous for spreading terrorism from its soil and killing hundreds of innocent people across the world. Jammu and Kashmir has been on target for some time now. They (Pakistan) want to create a communal divide among the people in Jammu and Kashmir.

Let us tell you that on January 21, there were twin blasts in the Narwal area of ​​Jammu, which took place at an interval of 20 minutes, in which six people were injured. The blasts took place a few days before the Republic Day celebrations in the country and during the Bharat Jodo Yatra of the Congress. During that time the Bharat Jodo Yatra was in Kathua of Jammu and Kashmir.
