Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir : The Ganderbal Police in Central Kashmir has taken significant steps by attaching properties belonging to five proclaimed offenders who are believed to have undergone illegal arms training in Pakistan. This action aligns with the directives of the Court of Additional Mobile Magistrate Ganderbal under Section 82 of the CrPC (Criminal Procedure Code) and follows a government mandate.

Proclaimed Offenders at Large in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK)

The offenders, who are currently evading arrest and are reportedly residing in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) or Pakistan, face charges under sections 2/3 of the Egress and Internal Movement (Control) Ordinance (E&IMCO). The move is aimed at curbing the activities of those engaged in unlawful pursuits across the border.
