Srinagar: The news of an encounter has come to the fore in Dassal area of Rajouri district in Jammu, in which a terrorist was killed by the security forces. This operation started in the early hours of Friday (June 2). Along with this, there is also news of two to three terrorists being surrounded. Earlier in the month of May also, security forces had an encounter with terrorists here, in which five soldiers were martyred.
In fact, in the early hours of Friday, security forces received information that terrorists were hiding in Dassal area of Rajouri, after which a search operation was started. During the search operation, when the terrorists saw the security forces coming, they started firing on the soldiers. The security forces also retaliated and started firing on the terrorists, in which the news of the killing of 1 terrorist is coming to the fore. Along with this, the security forces have sealed the area.
Tight security arrangements have been made for Amarnath Yatra
Tight security arrangements have been made in Jammu and Kashmir for the Amarnath Yatra this year. Due to which, on Thursday, Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh held a review meeting with the police officers in Srinagar and took stock of the security arrangements.
Earlier in the beginning of May, 5 soldiers were martyred after a terrorist attack in Rajouri area. Along with this, two terrorists were killed. After this attack, internet services were stopped in Rajouri area.
Last month, this attack in Rajouri took place at a time when foreign ministers of many countries including Pakistan, China were present in India for the SCO meeting. That’s why it was also seen as a big conspiracy of Pakistan.
