The ED has been investigating Jacqueline Fernandez’s Rs 200-crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. She is seeking a 15-day grant from the court to travel to Abu Dhabi.

According to sources, the Sri Lanka-born actress also wants to visit France and Nepal during her 15 day tour. In December 2021, she was not given permission by the immigration authorities at the Mumbai International Airport to leave the country based on a look-out circular (LoC) issued against her by the ED.

Recently, Jacqueline’s assets worth Rs 7.27 crore were attached by the ED. It is alleged that conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar sent gifts worth crores to Jacqueline Fernandez using the money he extorted from a Delhi businessman’s wife.

After the court hears the matter, it is expected that ED will be asked to file a reply to Jacqueline’s request.
