Jammu and Kashmir: BSF killed Pakistani infiltration in Samba

New Delhi: Jammu BSF jawans deployed in the security of the border once again showed their vigilance and foiled the effort to infiltrate the Indian border. Border Security Force (BSF) on the International Border (IB) in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, killed a suspicious Pakistani intruder on Thursday.

New Delhi: Jammu BSF jawans deployed in the security of the border once again showed their vigilance and foiled the effort to infiltrate the Indian border. Border Security Force (BSF) on the International Border (IB) in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir, killed a suspicious Pakistani intruder on Thursday.

Officials gave this information. He said that this incident took place in the Samba Sector, nearly two o’clock at 50 minutes late at the late night near Mangu Chak Border Chaki (BOP).

Officials said BSF personnel noticed suspicious movement along the International Border at BOP Mangu Chak and fired a few rounds towards the forward area, in which the intruder was killed. He told that since the body was in the forward area, the BSF started a search operation along the international border in Samba sector.

Giving information, the PRO of BSF Jammu said that the jawans of BSF noticed suspicious activity of a person crossing the International Border from Pakistan side in Samba area in the early hours today. The soldiers challenged him but the intruder kept moving towards the border fencing. After this the jawans opened fire on him and killed him.

Earlier on April 22, BSF jawans had caught a Pakistani citizen crossing the border in Ferozepur sector of Punjab. Even before this, in the month of March also, the Border Security Force had arrested a Pakistani citizen in the sector near the international border in Ferozepur sector of Punjab.

He was identified as a resident of Khyber district of Pakistan. On the intervening night of March 9-10, these Pakistani infiltrators crossed the international border and entered India at Tirath border outpost. BSF jawans arrested him and searched him.
