Even before this, the NIA had conducted raids at many places in connection with the terrorist conspiracy in Jammu and Kashmir.

Even before this, the NIA had conducted raids at many places in connection with the terrorist conspiracy in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to sources, these raids are related to terror funding and other terrorist activity cases. They further stated that mostly houses belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami people are being searched.The move comes days after searches were carried out by the Central Anti-Terrorism Agency.
A few days ago, the NIA had searched the houses of three real brothers Mohammad Ayub Pakhtoon, Tariq Ahmed and Safin in Kursu Rajbagh, Srinagar. The house of Mushtaq Ahmad Pinju was searched in Zakura. After searching the house of Sajjad Ahmed Khan in War Sangam area of Budgam district, the NIA had also taken him into custody for questioning.
Simultaneously, the house of Fayaz Ahmad Rather was searched in Mir Mohalla Nasrullapora of Budgam itself. Searches were conducted at Rauf Ahmed’s house in South Kashmir’s Rampora Kulgam and Shahnawaz Hajjam’s in Sangas.
Searches were conducted at the house and shop of Shaukat Ahmed Ganai at Khurampora in district Shopian, Mudassar Rehman at Kilora Malikgund and Fayyaz Ahmed Baba, a grocer at Chanpora.
