Jammu and Kashmir: On Saturday, an official said that a joint team of the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a thorough search operation on Friday after reports of suspicious movements along the border in Rajouri district of the Union Territory.

Jammu and Kashmir: On Saturday, an official said that a joint team of the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a thorough search operation on Friday after reports of suspicious movements along the border in Rajouri district of the Union Territory.

They added that the joint search operation by the Army and police was conducted in Brevi Bajimal and Chrangal-Kabukot in the Dharamsal area on Friday. The officials said the security forces fired a few rounds during the search of a natural cave at Brevi Bajimal but nothing was found there.

The security forces also launched massive search operations in the Poonch district after “suspected terrorists” fired at a convoy of Army vehicles in the area, Earlier in February this year. Sources said the Soldiers fired back at the attackers. It added that no one was injured in the incident.
