Terrorists have attacked and shot two non-local laborers in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag. The laborers have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Security forces are running the search operation.
Jammu and Kashmir: Despite the continuous operations against the terrorists, they are not desisting from their antics. The latest case is of Rakh-Momin area of Anantnag. Two non-local labourers were injured after being shot at by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag on Saturday. This was the second targeted attack on migrant labourers in the last ten days.
Recently, security forces had an encounter with terrorists in Shopian of Jammu and Kashmir. The security forces had surrounded two terrorists in the area, after which the terrorists started firing on them. A terrorist of Jaish-e-Mohammed was also killed in this encounter.
The terrorist who was killed on Friday in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir was Kamran Bhai alias Hanis. Kashmir’s Additional Director General of Police Vijay Kumar had tweeted, “The terrorist killed in the encounter has been identified as Kamran Bhai alias Hanees of Jaish, who was very active in Kulgam and Shopian areas. The search operation is still on.”
According to the police, the victims were working at a private school in Bondialgam area. One of the victims is from Bihar while the other is from Nepal. They were admitted to the hospital.
Non-local migrant workers have been a target of series of terrorist attacks in Kashmir. Last month, two labourers from Uttar Pradesh were killed in Shopian district. The labourers were working at an apple orchard.
