According to the information, the police and security forces launched a search operation after receiving information about the hiding of terrorists in Nagbal area of Shopian district of South Kashmir. Meanwhile, the terrorists hiding at one place started firing on the security forces. At first the security forces warned the terrorists to surrender, but the terrorists ignored it and continued firing. The security forces opened fire immediately taking the front and after half an hour a terrorist was killed.
Meanwhile, after some time, the security forces have succeeded in killing the second terrorist as well. Both the terrorists killed are said to be related to Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist organization. At present, the firing has stopped but the search operation is going on in the area to find other terrorists. There is a possibility that other accomplices of the slain terrorists are also hiding in the area.
Let us tell you that earlier on 25 August also an infiltrator from Pakistan tried to enter the Indian border. During this, BSF had foiled a big plan of smuggling. Army forces seized eight kilograms of suspected heroin from a Pakistani intruder on the border in Samba district. During this, the intruder was also shot, although in an injured condition, he had managed to crawl back to the Pakistani border.
