Jammu-Kashmir: On Monday, A terrorist was killed and a security personnel injured in an encounter that began in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.Police gave this information.

A police official said that following information about the presence of militants, security forces cordoned off Hef Shirmal area of ​​the district and launched a search operation.

Police official also said that the terrorists opened fire on the security forces, after which the security forces in retaliation also opened fire and the encounter started.

A security force jawan was injured in the encounter, while an unidentified terrorist was killed, the official said, adding that the operation is on.
