In Jammu and Kashmir, Army and Kupwara Police have killed two terrorists in a big action. A huge quantity of ammunition has been recovered from these slain terrorists.

New Delhi: In Jammu and Kashmir, Army and Kupwara Police have killed two terrorists in a big action. Two terrorists were killed in action by the army and police on Sunday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Machil sector of Kupwara district. A huge quantity of ammunition has been recovered from these slain terrorists. The terrorists killed in the encounter are being identified.

“Army and Kupwara Police neutralised two terrorists near LoC Tekri Nar in Machil area of Kupwara. Identification of the killed terrorists being ascertained. Two AK 47 rifles, two pistols and four hand grenades recovered. Further details shall follow,” the Kashmir Zone police tweeted.

Confirming the incident, Jammu and Kashmir Police said that two terrorists have been killed by security forces near LoC Tekri Nar in Machil area of ​​Kupwara. The slain terrorists are being identified. A huge quantity of weapons including 2 AK 47 rifles, 2 pistols and 4 grenades have been recovered from these terrorists.

Let us tell you that earlier in Pulwama district of South Kashmir, two non-local laborers were shot dead by unidentified terrorists on Saturday evening, due to which they were injured. Those who were admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment, where their condition is said to be stable. The injured were identified as Shamshad and Faizan Kasri, both residents of Bihar. Police and security forces cordoned off the entire area and launched an extensive search operation to nab the attackers.
