Jammu Kashmir: 4 people have died in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. Here, four people died when a tree fell on a tent. According to the information, it was raining heavily in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. Meanwhile, a family was living in a forested area with a tent. Suddenly a tree fell on the tent due to which four people died.

According to the information, out of the 4 people who have died, three women are involved. All of them were residents of Kathua district. They have also been identified. Those killed include Nazir Ahmed, 55, his wife Anwar Begum, 42, Showkat Ahmed’s wife, 26, and Shakeel Bano, 17. Strong wind and heavy rain are said to be the reason for the tree falling.

As soon as the incident was reported, the police also reached the spot and started the rescue operation. After this the dead bodies were taken to the hospital. This place is said to be 50 kilometers away from Kishtwar city.

Police informed that due to strong winds and heavy rains, a deodar tree fell on a tent in the forested area of ​​Keshwan. Four people died in this. The Red Cross Society has announced an immediate relief of Rs 50,000 each for the families of the victims. On the other hand, Kishtwar DCP Dr. Devansh Yadav expressed grief over the incident and said that all four people died on the spot after a tree fell on the tent.

Let me tell you, due to heavy rains in Jammu and Kashmir, landslide occurred in Ramban area. Due to this, the Srinagar National Highway was also closed for some time. Apart from this, crops have been damaged due to hailstorm in Udhampur. Apart from this, flood-like situation has arisen in Ramban and some other hilly areas.
