Jammu & Kashmir: Two Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists killed in Sopore encounter, one civilian injured

Sopore Encounter: An encounter took place in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir. Two terrorists were killed in this. According to the Kashmir Police, these terrorists were about to target civilians. They have been identified as Mohammad Rafi and Kesar Ashraf.

Sopore: Another encounter took place in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday. In an overnight encounter, the security forces killed two terrorists in the Sopore area of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir. Both the terrorists are said to be associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organization. They have also been recognized. A civilian has also been injured during the encounter, who has been admitted to the Srinagar hospital for treatment.

According to the Kashmir Police, the slain terrorists have been identified as Mohammad Rafi and Kesar Ashraf. Rafi is a resident of Sopore. At the same time, Ashraf was from Pulwama. Terrorist Rafi has been booked twice under PSA (Public Safety Act). Both the terrorists have been involved in some terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir, this was also told by the Kashmir Police. According to the ADGP, now common citizens were their target in Sopore.

This encounter in Sopore started on Wednesday afternoon. The team of Police, Army and CRPF together carried out this operation. This encounter took place on the basis of intelligence information about the hiding of terrorists in the area.
