The Japanese fans started collecting the litter and other thrown-up garbage that were used by spectators during the match between Japan and Germany, and after some time, they cleaned up the entire area then left the stadium.
Doha: ‘Cleanliness is next to Godliness’ which should be maintained everywhere at any cost in any situation. The Japanese football fans are the perfect example for the entire world. On Wednesday night, Japan defeated four-time champion Germany 2-1 in the ongoing FIFA World Cup. Tears flowed from the Japanese fans in the stadium after the game. Why not? They were overjoyed because beating Germany in a World Cup match was a matter of pride for the whole country.
Despite the jubilation, the Japanese fans didn’t forget their duty; after the match, they started collecting the litter and other thrown-up garbage that were used by spectators during the match, and after sometime, they cleaned up the entire area then left the stadium.
Japan issued a warning to other teams after beating football superpower Germany in the crucial league match of the World Cup. Credit must be given to ‘Blue Brigade’ for the gusty performance. After trailing 1-0, the Asian nation came back with concrete planning and scored twice in the second half, which dented the German’s hope to some extent of moving into the second round.
The video went viral, showing fans picking up litter from the stands of the Khalifa International Stadium and depositing it in a large waste bag.
In the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia, similar scenes were seen; despite losing 3-2 to Belgium in the Round of 16, the Japanese fan cleaned up the stadium before leaving the arena.
