In a recent interview given to the media, Atlee confirmed the sequel of his box office hit film Jawan. He said that he will definitely make a comeback with Jawan 2, if the script is strong enough to make a film on it. Shahrukh Khan's film ends with the teaser of the sequel.
Mumbai: Famous director of South Industry Atlee is celebrating the success of the film ‘Jawan’ these days. The film has collected Rs 735 crore worldwide so far. On this occasion, Atlee has given a big update regarding the sequel of ‘Jawan’. Director Atlee has confirmed that he will return with Jawan 2 only if the script is strong enough to make a film on it. Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan in a double role, concluded with an open ending. The final scene hinted that Shah Rukh will return as Azad and Vikram Rathore, his father-son characters in the film, for yet another heist.
Young director Atlee has confirmed in an interview that he will make a sequel to the film, however, he does not have any deadline in mind yet. In the interview, the director said, “Every film of mine has an open end but to date, I have never thought of doing a sequel to any of my films. For Jawan, if anything strong comes to me, I will make a part two. I have kept an open end and I can come up with a sequel now or later. But definitely will come up with a sequel to Jawan one day.”
Atlee has also revealed about making a spin-off on Vikram Rathod. The young director told that like the fans and audience, he is also thinking about the spin-off of Vikram Rathod. If any idea related to him comes, he will not hesitate in making the sequel of Jawan.
He told, ‘Vikram is his ‘hero’ and he would consider himself happy to come up with a spin-off on him. Atlee said, ‘I am a father’s son and I like to write the character of a strong father and present it to the audience. You can see it in all my films.
