Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan made an impressive comeback with Pathaan in January 2023 after an hiatus of five years. The action thriller also featured Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. It turned out to be a huge commercial success and grossed over thousand crores. Now Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for the release of ‘Jawaan’ which has been cleared by the censor board. Directed by Atlee, the film also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and others. The film is now ready to release in theaters on 7 September 2023. CBFC has given U/A certificate to the film.
There is no age restriction to watch ‘Jawan’. People of all ages can watch it with their family as well. Along with this, the runtime of the film has also been revealed. ‘Jawan’ is going to entertain people a lot for 2 hours 49 minutes, which means it is around 169 minutes and 14 seconds long film. Its duration is much longer than Shah Rukh’s last film Pathaan. The excitement around the film is sky-high and the fans are looking forward to watching him in a never-seen-before avatar.

According to media reports, news is also coming that the film stars Shah Rukh in a double role, with one of them playing a negative character, claiming that King Khan will play a fighter in the film, in which he will play the father, and a jailer, in which he will play the role of a son. It is also being said that ‘Jawan’ Shahrukh will be seen in six different looks, one of King Khan’s characters is named Vikram and the other is named Azad. Jawan is directed by popular Tamil director Atlee Kumar, in his Bollywood directorial debut. Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Priyamani and others will be seen playing important roles. Deepika will be seen in a special appearance. Produced by Gauri Khan under the Red Chillies banner, Jawan is slated to release theatrically on 7 September in Hindi and in dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions. So far, the makers have released a prevue, several posters as well as two songs from the film. All of them have been well received by audiences.
On the Workfront, After the release of Jawan, King Khan will appear in Rajkumar Hirani’s comedy-drama film Dunki. The film, also starring Taapsee Pannu, will mark his first collaboration with the acclaimed director. Dunki explores the theme of illegal immigration and it will hit the theatres during the Christmas week of December this year.
