Georgia: For Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, one wedding wasn’t enough! The much-in-love couple exchanged vows in July in Las Vegas. It’s interesting to note that on August 21, they tied the knot again at Ben’s house in Georgia.
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez remarried in Georgia after exchanging vows in a secret ceremony in Las Vegas earlier this month. They got married in front of their friends and family members. Interior designer and event planner Colin Cowie oversaw the weekend-long celebration, with lifestyle expert Jay Shetty officiating at the wedding itself. Ben’s brother, Casey Affleck, Drea de Matteo, and Matt Damon were among the famous guests present at the wedding.
Prior to that, the couple started dating in July 2002. Just days before their September 2003 wedding, they announced their engagement in November of the same year. In the end, they decided to break off their engagement in January 2004. Jennifer Lopez previously explained to People how their relationship has changed over the past 18 years. She had stated, “We have to be extremely careful of such things because we are older, smarter, more experienced at different stages of our lives, and now parents of children.” It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives when we can truly appreciate, enjoy, and respect each other. It’s a great ending.
On the personal front, Jennifer Lopez, 52, has 14-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Meanwhile, Ben Affleck, 49, shares three kids with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.
