Jharkhand: An early hours on Wednesday, a massive fire broke out in Daily Vegetable Market of Ranchi. Several wholesale and retail vegetable shops were gutted in the fire. After receiving information about this incident Four fire tenders have rushed to the spot and efforts are on to douse the fire, fire officials said.
DSP Kotwali Prakash Soy said,”We informed the fire brigade as soon as we received the information about the fire. The fire is under control now, Several shops have been gutted. He said that the cause of the fire is not yet known. Initially there were four fire tenders, later more teams were called.”
An official said that the reason for the fire has not been ascertained. The police and several local shopkeepers are present at the spot.
Some time after the fire broke out in the vegetable market, the fire took a serious form. People started running here and there. There was chaos all around. Police said that they have registered a case and started investigation. After the investigation is completed, it will be known how the fire started.
