Ranchi: The Enforcement Directorate team arrested Minister Alamgir Alam late on Wednesday evening. After a day long interrogation, Minister Alamgir Alam was arrested by ED. Earlier on Tuesday also, ED had interrogated the minister for about 10 hours. ED arrested Alamgir Alam on Wednesday after about seven hours of interrogation.
In this case, the ED had summoned State Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam in connection with the recovery of about Rs 37 crore in cash by raiding the premises of State Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam’s PS Sanjeev Lal and Jahangir Ansari. ED officials interrogated him for about ten hours on Tuesday. Even today Alamgir Alam had reached the ED office, where he was arrested after hours of interrogation.
Minister Alamgir Alam was arrested by ED late evening. Due to which Alamgir Alam will spend the night in the ED office tonight. It is being told that the ED will present him in the court on Thursday.
After the arrest of Minister Alamgir Alam, the team of Sadar Hospital reached ED office for medical checkup. After health checkup, the doctor told that the blood pressure of Minister Alamgir Alam is slightly high, while the sugar is normal. Doctors told that Alamgir Alam already takes medicines for BP and sugar.
After receiving information about the arrest of Minister Alamgir Alam, his family members also reached the ED office. Two women members also reached the ED office to meet Alamgir Alam.
