J&K: Security forces killed a terrorist in an encounter in Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday morning. The identity of the terrorist is not yet known. Modern weapons like AK-47, pistol have been recovered from him.

An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists on Saturday morning in Mochwa area of Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir. One terrorist was killed in this encounter. Weapons like AK-47 and pistol were recovered from the dead terrorist. Giving information about the encounter, the Kashmir Zone Police said, ‘Encounter has started in Mochwa area of Budgam, police and security forces are doing their work.’
After a while, the Kashmir Zone Police, while giving an update about the encounter, said, ‘A terrorist has been killed in the encounter. He cannot be identified. An AK-47 and a pistol were recovered. The search operation is still on. Further information will be given soon.
Earlier on Friday, in Rajouri, Jammu, the security forces had achieved great success. Security forces had killed two terrorists in an encounter here. The encounter took place in the forests of Thanamandi.
