Baramulla encounter: An encounter took place between security forces and terrorists in Sopore, Baramulla, North Kashmir on Wednesday. In this encounter, security forces killed two terrorists. At the same time, policemen have also been injured. The injured soldier was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, where his treatment is ongoing.

In fact, on Wednesday morning, suspicious activity of terrorists was reported in Hadipore village of Sopore, after which police and security forces cordoned off the entire area. Along with this, a search operation was conducted. A massive search operation was conducted by Sopore police, Army’s 32 RR and CRPF personnel. Seeing themselves surrounded, the terrorists started firing on the security forces. After this the security forces started retaliating. In retaliation, security forces killed two terrorists.

It is noteworthy that after the cordon and search operation started in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, firing started between security forces and terrorists. In the matter, Jammu and Kashmir Police said, “Based on specific information about terrorists in the area, a cordon and search operation was launched by the security forces in Poonch district and meanwhile an exchange of fire took place between the terrorists and the security forces.”
